California forest

In Big Bear Lake, California I spent time creating many studies of the forest, lake, and trees. This piece was one that was specifically challenging because of my unfamiliarity drawing the nature of the trees.  When finished drawing, I decided to tear the edges of the sulphite drawing paper to give it a raw edge to complement the nature scene.  

There are no known cosmetic flaws on this piece.  I placed this drawing in the "Imperfect Art" collection because it simply is not one of my favorite pieces that I have made recently.
