Flower Study II

This is a small flower study I completed last year.  My goal was to draw the flowers as accurately as possible in three minutes.  Timing my drawings challenges me to focus on the essential elements of the study, rather than trying to create a perfect drawing.  I love the handmade paper and the natural deckled edge, as it gives the piece character and rarity. 

There are no known cosmetic flaws on this piece.  I placed this drawing in the "Imperfect Art" collection because it simply is not one of my favorite floral drawings that I have made.
