This is a small fruit study I completed last year. My goal was to draw the pear accurately, using the cross hatching value technique to give the pear dimension, form, and shading. I love the handmade paper and the natural deckled edge, as it gives the piece character and rarity.
There are no known cosmetic flaws on this piece. I placed this drawing in the "Imperfect Art" collection because it simply is not one of my favorite fruit drawings that I have made.
