Sail Along the Coast

This is a medium size coastal drawing I completed using Sennelier oil pastels. I have recently been enamored with artworks that capture land, sea, and sky as complementary elements. My aim was to create focal points on the island land, cloudy sky, and sailing in the ocean. I had so much fun creating the color palette for this piece, and I love how well the mat and frame complement the cool tones and textures from the pastels.
