This drawing was created using magnolia flowers as the subject. This was my first art piece on handmade paper, and it was a daunting task! I knew I wanted to have a delicate, vintage looking piece that was very captivating while also maintaining minimalism.
This piece was illustrated on cotton rag handmade paper with deckled edges, so you will notice that the pen lines have natural texture that show through from the paper's grooves.
This original is hand signed by the artist.

This paper was created using 100% natural materials in the loveliest mottled cream, white, and tan hues with variations of specks and flecks of fibres throughout. This was done intentionally to create visual texture.
