Meadow at Dawn

Original graphite landscape study on paper (5" by 7”). Vintage frame not included. 

I was inspired to use soft graphite to create the illusion of a morning mist settling over a meadow. This piece is meant to add dimension and depth to a space, while also connecting the viewer to the meadow scene.   My aim was to create a mixture of details and simplicity, contrast of dark and light values, and land with wind, mist, and peace.

Due to the nature of the drawing paper, there may be slight variations in the dimensions. A protective matte sealer specific for protecting the lifespan of graphite has been applied to this piece.
